Friends make fun of each other all the time. But it doesn’t mean that they can’t be respectful of each other when it is needed the most. You respect the secrets of your friend and never talk behind his/her back (even when there is an ongoing fight or unsettled argument).
You Listen to Your Friend
You understand that your friend has a lot to tell you and not everything is about you. That’s why you don’t interrupt your friend when he/she is taking and you listen attentively, with interest. You give importance to whatever your friend has to say, even if it is baseless talking.
This trait wins many hearts. You don’t mind fighting for your friend. When you see your friend in trouble, you don’t think twice before helping him/her. It doesn’t mean that you’re protective in a possessive way. It’s just that you consider all angles and go with the one that is in your friend’s best interest.
The Bottom line
If you think you don’t have one of the traits that are mentioned, you can work on them and be a much better friend. Don’t look for these traits in your friends, start with yourself!
